להקת תלתנא מנגנת מוסיקה יהודית אינסטרומנטלית בעיקרה בהשראת מוסיקת עולם.
הלהקה הוקמה לפני כעשר שנים כטריו בהשפעה משמעותית של מוסיקה קלטית ומכך נבע שמה - תלתנא .
התלתן הוא אחד הסמלים האיריים והתוספת של האות א' מביאה לידי ביטוי את הערך המוסף היהודי.
עם השנים, הלהקה יצרה חיבורים שונים של סגנונות עם לחנים מעולם המסורת היהודית.
הנגנים עצמם גדלו והתחנכו בסביבה דתית ובשל כך נחשפו כבר מילדותם ללחנים שונים בשולחן השבת , בתפילה , בסביבה הלימודית בה התחנכו ועוד...
החיבור של הנגנים יחד , כל אחד עם ההשפעות המוסיקליות האהובות עליו , גררו סיעור מוחות ושילוב מקצבים ומוטיבים שונים משלל סגנונות מוסיקליים בכתיבת העיבודים - קלטי / ג'אז / בלקני / צועני / בלוגראס ועוד...
ההרכב מופיע על במות שונות.כלי הנגינה השונים מאפשרים הבעה של סגנונות מוסיקליים רבים במצלול הייחודי ללהקה.

The TILTANA ensemble plays mainly Jewish instrumental music influenced by music from around the world. The ensemble was founded ten years ago as a trio, strongly influenced by Celtic music from which its name TILTANA derives.
The clover (tiltan, in Hebrew) is one of Ireland’s symbols, and the addition of the alef emphasizes that this group specializes in Jewish music.
Over the years, the ensemble has created various genres of melodies from around the world, in the Jewish tradition. The musicians grew up receiving a religious education in Israel and as a result, they were influenced by melodies that they heard at Shabbat meals, in the Synagogue, and through the educational atmosphere they imbibed.
The combination of the musicians, each with his own favorite musical preferences, led to brainstorming and the joining together of various tempos and motifs among the many musical styles of their arrangements – Celtic, jazz, Balkan, Gypsy, bluegrass, etc.
The different instruments played make possible a unique expression of these musical styles.
