This summer, Pardes is offering two distinct in-person Talmud courses with Rabbi Zvi Hirschfield, both focused on the third chapter of Tractate Rosh Hashanah. Explore the technical and spiritual dimensions of the shofar as we prepare for the High Holidays—choose the level and format that’s right for you:

Option 1: Intermediate/Advanced
Time: 9:15 AM – 12:15 PM
Cost: 300 NIS per week (600 NIS for full two weeks)

Who it's for: Learners with at least one year of Talmud study who are comfortable using a Talmudic dictionary.
Text: Provided with both Vilna and Steinsaltz options.

Deepen your Talmud skills and engage with the full complexity of the text in a traditional Beit Midrash format.

Option 2: Beginner / Some Background
Time: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Cost: 200 NIS per week (400 NIS for full two weeks)

Who it's for: Learners newer to Talmud or looking to build confidence.
Text: Provided with vowels and translated word lists to support understanding.

A guided, accessible learning experience focusing on comprehension, core skills, and spiritual resonance.

Students must commit to at least one full week (all three class days), and are encouraged to register for both weeks.
